Turn Of The Century Home

This home was originally a log cabin built in 1877, Attorney J.C. Bell (prosecutor in the famous Alfred Packer trial) remodeled it to make it this 2 story frame residence in 1882. This house has had an interesting history, one of the owners was merchant Emil W. Soderholm who purchased the home in 1910. It was then rented by several people one of them being L.E. Shull who used the house for his dentist office (1917-23). The dentist chair is one of the many antiques still in the home. The present owner has made many improvements to this home, but has taken care to keep with the homes' originality. If you are wanting to step back in time, then this house would the one for you. This house is located walking distance to downtown and one block from the town park. This is an ideal location for the many artists who come to Lake City for the crafts fairs and festivals held at the park each year.
